Black bears are the most commonly encountered bear in North America. They are the creature of the forest that prefer to live in extensive wooded areas where they can obtain fruits and vegetation easily and on a regular basis.

Today, 31% of the earth’s surface is covered by forests that house both animals and plants. But the continuous practice of cutting trees is leading towards deforestation, affecting the climate and species diversity.

Deforestation can lead to a general degradation or direct loss of wildlife habitat. The removal of trees and other plants reduces the availability of food, shelter, water, and breeding habitat. It can also lead to climate change, wildfires and droughts, animal starvation, etc.

To protect forest animals such as black bears, as well as our planet as a whole, we step forward to act. As of December 2022, we have planted 1.5 million trees to fight forest depletion. At the same time, for every photo of a tree on Instagram tagged with the emojis “Bear Love Tree” we pledged to donate $1 to the National Forest Foundation. 

In addition to our planet, we also take our customers seriously. Our soft and chewy gummy bears always bring a smile to our customers’ faces. Each Organic Gummy and Organic Fruit Snack is made with Certified USDA Organic ingredients. From the coloring to the flavor, it’s real! We use fruit juice to keep our snacks tasting fruity and many of the colors you see are derived from plant-based sources such as turmeric, apple juice, etc. Moreover, all of our gummies and fruit-flavored snacks are either gluten-free or Certified Gluten Free. And don’t forget, every delicious bag is fat-free, too!
